What is a trap?

In the aspect of plumbing & sanitary, a “trap” is a bend that prevent sewer gases or foul smell from escaping into the building. Depends on the type of fixture, it is located below or with a picture and is defined in the shape it forms; such as P-trap, S-trap.

If WC with trap concealed, measure the trap distance from the ceiling (neighbor above your unit has the same trap distance)
