There is no requirement for pressurize WC flush valve. However, urinal flush valve is subjected to this WELS rating.

Manual override feature only applicable to urinal sensor flush valve whereby the user is able to press a button to reset the urinal sensor. However, it has been taken note that the manual override will not function in the event of power failure.

Manual by-pass feature applicable to WC sensor flush valve whereby the user must be able to activate the flush by pressing a mechanical button in the event of power failure.

The default setting is delay of 10sec for basin tap with 3 ticks of WELS rating.

Based on PUB regulation, for the WC sensor flush valve, the WC will start flushing upon the user leave the sensing area of 5 sec; for the urinal sensor flush valve, the sensor start flushing immediately upon the user move away from the sensing area.

What is a Trap?

What is Trap Distance?

Trap distance refers to the horizontal distance measured from the finished wall surface to the centre of the sewage pipe. Mathematically, 1 inch = 25.4mm

How to determine Trap Distance?
